Jonathan de St. Paer is President of Charles Schwab Investment Management, Inc. (CSIM). CSIM is one of the nation’s largest asset managers, and is the investment adviser to the Schwab Funds, Laudus Funds, and Schwab ETFs.

Prior to his current role, Mr. de St. Paer held various leadership roles within CSIM, most recently leading the firm’s Strategy and Product Development, Product Management, Business Oversight, and Governance teams. He joined Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. in 2003. Previous to Schwab, Mr. de St. Paer worked at McKinsey & Company where he was a member of the corporate finance and strategy practice. Earlier in his career, he worked in investment banking at Bear Stearns & Co. Inc.

Mr. de St. Paer earned a Master of Business Administration with a major in finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of California, San Diego.
